The following is a quick overview of Filecamp.

Filecamp is a lightweight Digital Asset Management system/Imagebank and include a wide range of features that you can use to exchange files with your clients and collaborators.

Filecamp is web-based

Filecamp is web-based and needs no installation on either your or your clients computers. If you have access to the Internet, you have access to Filecamp.

Customize your file exchange solution with your own logo and colors

You can quickly customize your Filecamp solution with your own design line by simply uploading your own topbanner to top bar.
P.S. With the additional module Filecamp Brands you can make as many customized solutions as you want.

FTP replacement

Many companies still use FTP to transfer files, in spite of this standard, never has been known for its ease of use. With Filecamp, all employees, customers and partners can easily exchange even very large files between them.

Super simple User Management

It's easy to create new users and assign those users to which folders, files and functions they have access to. You can even create groups of users which you can also assign rights ... an extremely time-saving feature if you have many users who need access to the same files.

Exchange and transfer of heavy files

Filecamp supports the upload of files up to 2 Gigabytes per file.

Drag and drop functionality

In Filecamp you can easily move files and folders by simply drag and drop. Actually you can also drag files directly from your Mac / PC directly into Filecamp ... using only your web browser.

Direct Download URL

If you need to quickly transfer a few files to a customer or partner Filecamps "Direct Download URL" feature is very handy. Just copy/paste the "Direct Download URL" into an email and your customer / partner will see a download page with a preview of the file and a large download button. Of course with your company logo and colors in the top bar. 

Direct Upload URL (Hotfolder)

It is also possible to receive files to Filecamp without first submitting username and password. Just select the folder you want files sent to, select how long time the folder shall be "active". The "Direct Upload URL" can then be copied into an email and sent to your customer / partner. Of course, your customer / partner will still see your logo and colors on the Upload page:

With this feature you can easily get an "Upload" button on your website. When you need to receive (big) files you can just refer to your website. Of course you will receive a notification email when new files are uploaded.

Online file-and picture archive

It is obvious to use Filecamp as an online archive of the cases you have solved for your customers (possibly as pdf files). And of course control access so that your customers can access the files and folders as you give them permission to.

Previews of all common file types

When files are uploaded, Filecamp will generate a preview of the file. Filecamp supports most file formats such as: .pdf, .psd, .ai, .eps, .jpg, .tif, .mov, avi., .swf and so on. You can upload all types of files to Filecamp and we are constantly expanding the amount of file types we can generate previews of.

Notifications by email

Each time new files are uploaded, those users who signed up for this, receive an email with information about which files are uploaded and who have uploaded them. Each user can, at any time, turn this feature on and off.

Log in from your own website

If desired, it is easy to let your customers and business partners log in to your Filecamp solution directly from your website. All that is required is that you copy and paste a small piece of HTML form code into your website. 

Log file

Each time a user logs in, try logging in, uploading a file, downloading a file, modify Proof status on a file and much more, it will be recorded in the log file. As an administrator you have full access to the log file and can keep track of everything that happens on your Filecamp solution.

Trash

All files that either you or your users delete from your Filecamp solution is moved to the Trash. Only users with administrative privileges have access to view and empty the trash. This means that if one of your users came to delete a file by mistake, you, as administrator, quickly can find it again.

Safety and backup

Filecamp servers are located in a "state of the art hosting center. We take daily backups of all data on all our servers.
